Tae is an entrepreneur, engineer, and architect whose journey is defined by a relentless curiosity about how the world connects. Raised across Guam, Korea, Indonesia, and the U.S., he developed a borderless worldview early on, cultivating interests in writing, music, science, and technology.

While pursuing a degree in computational biology at Carnegie Mellon University, he treated his career like a "breadth-first search" algorithm—exploring distinct nodes in merchandising, composing, and programming to find the optimal path. The signal was found in his senior year when he discovered Bitcoin.

Recognizing the potential for trustless systems to empower the marginalized, he founded Gluwa in 2012. For over a decade, Gluwa has built the blockchain infrastructure to "bank the unbanked," powering networks like Creditcoin to provide open financial solutions.

In 2022, Tae expanded his scope to the physical layer by founding Space Network, a space telecommunications company. Together, Gluwa and Space Network are collectively building Spacecoin—a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) powered by satellites. By combining Gluwa's trustless financial rails with Space Network's orbital infrastructure, Tae is working toward a singular vision: connecting the unconnected through permissionless systems.

Beyond the lab and the boardroom, Tae channels his creative energy into the tangible world. He owns a gym and a café, collects art and wine, and produces films. Whether building satellites or curating a wine list, he is committed to having a profound, lasting impact on humanity.

Tae's full legal name is Tae Lim Oh. It's pronounced "tay-LIM OH." "Tae Lim" is the first name and "Oh" is the last name. You can simply call him "Tae."

Written in Korean characters, "오태림." "태림" is the first name and "오" is the last name. Written in Chinese characters, "吳泰林." "泰林" is the first name and "吳" is the last name.

This website is Tae Oh's homepage. Social platforms like X or Instagram are great at quickly sharing personal content, but they focus on current trends. Tae wanted an option to curate his voice in a free format, focusing on what he believes important regardless to current trends. Hence, he publishes this website.

Tae deliberately made the website without using any CSS or JS. Nothing wrong with websites using those, but he wanted to keep the website as simple as possible in all dimension possible.
